The issue opens with Tim Drake, the current Red Robin, on a mission to rescue a group of kidnapped children. But when he arrives at the kidnappers' hideout, he finds that the children are not alone. They're being held captive by a group of supervillains, led by the evil Doctor Death.
Tim quickly realizes that he's outmatched. But he doesn't give up. He knows that he has to save the children, no matter what the cost.
With the help of his friends, Red Robin fights his way through Doctor Death's minions and rescues the children. But the victory is bittersweet. One of the children, a young girl named Maya, has been seriously injured. And Red Robin knows that she needs medical attention immediately.
But where can he take her? The nearest hospital is too far away. And time is running out.
In a moment of desperation, Red Robin turns to his team for help. Together, they come up with a plan to use their powers to create a makeshift hospital. And with Maya's life on the line, they race against time to save her.
