Origins
The Fantastic Four were created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. The team first appeared in Fantastic Four #1 (November 1961). The Fantastic Four were an immediate success, and they quickly became one of the most popular superhero teams in comics.
The Fantastic Four were a departure from the superhero teams that had come before them. Previous superhero teams, such as the Justice Society of America and the Avengers, were made up of characters who had already been established as solo heroes. The Fantastic Four, on the other hand, were a group of new characters who were created specifically to be a team.

The Fantastic Four have had many adventures over the years. They have fought against some of the most powerful villains in the Marvel Universe, including Doctor Doom, Galactus, and Thanos. The Fantastic Four have also been involved in some of the most important events in Marvel history, such as the Secret Wars and the Infinity Gauntlet.
